Appearance of the Coils
1. Coils
It will be rejected if they have a corrugated appearance to the sides, i.e. ridges forming waves of some 20 mm, as this indicates that the coil has been incorrectly tensioned during slitting/coiling
2. Un - Oiled Stock
Under NO instance will Oiled Stock be accepted
All Steel must be un-oiled stock as oiled stock will cause excessive slippage.
3. Slit Edge
Coil stock must have a clean edge and that there is no burred and/or mal formed curvature.
